j'ai enfin vu ce téléfilm. Original, surprenant avec des effets spéciaux pour l'époque. Delà à dire que c'est vieillot, bien au contraire, je ne trouve pas. Mais sacrément intéressant.

I don't know how they made something this accurate in 1772. But my best guess is that the creator took a wooden dowl with a clayed layer and basically recorded himself moving the arms and hitting the strings. when he had hit a note, the clay would be engraved. once finished, he made a metal copy of that clay recording and replayed it to the automaton.

Yes that's Marie Antoinette playing the Dulcimer. It does sound Mozartey so I believe all 8 pieces she plays were written by Mozart.

Her playing is...'okay,' if not a bit mechanical and stilted. But overall, a good effort (she's got some nice bah-zoon-gahs, too!).
